How to convert popular video formats to MP4 files
I’ll explain below in a very simple and practical way how you can convert most video formats to MP4 file using the free software XviD4PSP (I’m using the version 5.036). Check the following address if you need to download XviD4PSP:

You can import the following formats into XviD4PSP: AVI, DivX, ASF, MPG, MPE, MPEG, VOB, TS, M2P, D2V, MOV, QT, 3GP, HDMOV, RM, RAM, RMVB, RPX, SMI, SMIL, MKV, OGM, WMV, DVR-MS, PMP and FLV.
Okay, so let’s do this thing!
Follow the steps which are shown below:
1) Click on Open button.
2) Select the file you want to convert (a) and click on Open button (b).
3) Select the output format (c), the video encoding profile (d) and the audio encoding profile (e).
4) Click on Save button (f), select a folder for the MP4 output file (g), choose a name for the file (h) and click on Save button (i).
5) Click on Encode button (j) to start the video conversion process.
6) Wait the conversion to be completed (k).
7) Click on Close button (l).
That’s it, it’s done. Now you have a brand new MP4 file.
